Experience the boutique, athletic training space at Urban Athletic Club Georgetown. The studio is perfectly set-up for group training with features including a 35' long turf floor, monkey bars with XT Trainers, and tons of kettlebells and dumbbells. For individual use we provide conventional cardiovascular equipment such as Precor Treadmills and Ellipticals. 

We offer daily fitness classes, personal training, and membership options.

URBAN ATHLETE

UAC's Signature strength and sports conditioning class, Urban Athlete applies functional movements to develop strength and endurance while promoting fat loss. Urban Athlete focuses on bodyweight exercises, sports conditioning, and dumbbell and kettlebell lifts.

One-on-one training for those who don’t wish to enter our group classes, have specific sport/competition goals, or who want individualized programming and the accountability that comes with private training.

FAQs

Location

We are located at 2700 Q St. NW inside the Kew Gardens apartment building. The gym entrance is on the west side of 27th Street between P and Q Streets (directly across from East Place and 27th Street). Walk up the brick stairs to a glass door and where you’ll see a doorbell on the left hand side. Ring the doorbell and we'll let you in.

Parking

There is free two-hour street parking on all adjacent streets and paid parking on P Street. Mornings are typically easier than evenings to find a parking spot.

Arrival

Please arrive 5 minutes early to have time to change, tie your shoes and get settled in before the workout.  You may do your own warmup/foam roll if you need, but we plan a scheduled warmup as part of class and training.

Waiver

All new athletes must complete a waiver prior to working out. Save time! Download and print the form prior to arriving. 

WHAT TO BRING

Please wear athletic sneakers. Both workout and shower towels are provided. We have a water fountain and water for sale. We encourage you to bring your own bottle.  

SHOWER

We have a shower with full amenities (towels, shampoo, body wash, razors, hair dryer) available.  We ask that you respect others by taking a quick shower in the event that others need to shower, too.

LOUNGE AREA

We have a lounge area where you can relax before or after class. WIFI is provided at no charge.
