Fort Circle to Eastern Market Adventure
Fort Circle Park OutRun Adventure Tour
This special OutRun Adventure reflects our commitment to our motto, “Fitness without Boundaries”. As with all our OutRuns, we get beyond the conventional four walls of the gym by taking the fitness outside.
The OutRun Adventure on August 18th at 8:00 am takes us to the much less traveled hills and trails of Anacostia and Capitol Hill. The two-hour OutRun covers +/- 6 miles and multiple cross training stops to work on specific areas of the body and core (squats, pull-ups, lunges, planks, push-ups, sit-ups and resistance-band work) as we traverse the lesser known forested pathways, landmarks and Civil War historical sites of Anacostia and the Fort Circle Park Trail.
As always, we will provide the instruction and inspiration, music and motivation, equipment and experience to make it a workout like you’ve never done before and won’t soon forget. See a hidden part of DC that is just as naturally majestic as its counterpart to the West, Rock Creek Park. Adventure sessions have designated meeting points and finishing points around the city and are metro/bikeshare/bus accessible for the participant. It’s going to be epic so sign up now!
Start Time: 8:00 am
Starting Line: Benning Road Metro
Finish Line: Eastern Market Metro
